Care Info BOUGAINVILLEA - REPOT : Every 3-4 years in spring. Use deep pot to keep ROOTS insulated from the heat. SOIL : Free draining soil : 30:70 GRIT:organic. PRUNE : Major branch PRUNING in winter. PINCH: Prune out current years growth after flowering in early autumn, after flowering. WATER : Almost dry in winter and evenly moist (never saturated) in growing season. FEED : Low nitrogen during growing season. Chelated iron may improve colour of the BRACTs.
